Sexual abuse: 81-year-old Imam's sentence


An Imam has been sentenced to 13 years in prison for sexually harassment in the United Kingdom. Mohammad Sadiq (81), who used to teach religious subjects to primary school children.
According to the British online newspaper The Independent, Judge Stephen Hopkins ordered Sadiq to be sentenced to 13 years in prison for sexually harassing, as well as to be indicted indefinitely as a sex offender. Following the pronouncement of the verdict, the judge said that four complainants played a brave role in this matter. It was difficult for them to overcome cultural barriers as well as to overcome cultural barriers.
Sadiq, who had been teaching at a mosque in Cardiff for almost 30 years, In the 10 years between 1996 and 2006, the charges against him were found in which the judge convicted him of 14 crimes. Of these, there are six incidents of ominous behavior and eight sexual abuse incidents. 

In 2006, the police started investigating against Sadiq on the basis of the complaint of two daughters. But Sadiq then denied that accusation. In the second case, another complaint was started in 2016.
Born in Hong Kong, Sadiq later moved to Pakistan. 1967 to go to the UK Sadiq is a member of the board of directors of the mosque. Primary school students were in charge of religious education. After four days a week, the students took religious education after school.
